At Hylands we really do offer the best of both worlds: meticulously restored period interiors and a contemporary Grand Pavilion – all of which makes an impressive end of year celebration for your students.

After a red carpet arrival, your students will enjoy a welcome drink in the beautiful Hylands House before moving into the Grand Pavilion for either a sit down meal or a hot fork buffet, plus evening entertainment. Our 2025 packages start at £50.00 per person and we can accommodate up to 300 guests, teachers and students inclusive.

Each package includes a red-carpet arrival with welcome drinks served in Hylands House, a two course meal or a hot fork buffet (dependent of what package is chosen), soft drinks served throughout the meal, a fully staffed bar in the Grand Pavilion, DJ entertainment, dancefloor, photobooth and security. All of our packages include exclusive access to the Grand Pavilion & Hylands House from 4.30pm for set up with guest arrival from 6.30pm.

Hylands House is a beautiful Grade II* Listed neo-classical Georgian mansion set in 574 acres of parkland, providing the perfect setting for your students to relax and celebrate the end of school. With DJ entertainment and optional extras available, it is hard to imagine a more simply perfect evening.

The ideal location

Our venue is superbly positioned with great transport links, with both stunning period and contemporary interiors and is surrounded by over 500 by acres of parkland.

Cars, including limos, are permitted to drive to the front of the Hylands House for guests arrival from 6.30pm onwards. Hylands Estate will supply security on site throughout the prom hire to supervise the vehicles during arrival. No vehicles are permitted to park in front of Hylands House.

Hylands is just minutes away from the A12 and M25 and a short taxi ride to Chelmsford City railway station.
